Ahto is water world dotted with thousands of small, mountainous islands (the peaks of mountains jutting from its deep seas). These islands are inhabited by the planets only indigenous sentient species, avariel or winged elves. These elves live in scattered tribes, all of which owe allegiance to a single queen, Allisara Driquar. Ahto is a happy, peaceful world. Only “natural” animals are found here (except for the Avariel). The Imperial Elven Navy maintains contact with Queen Allisara Driquar, through both magical and mundane means. Some limited trade is also carried on between the Avariel and spelljamming elves. Two centuries ago, the Tauran Empire suffered its first major defeat when it attempted to conquer this vast ocean world. The conflict was finally concluded with the signing of the Ahto Accords. the Imperial Elven Navy acknowledged the sovereignty of the Tauran Empire over the rest of the sphere, and the Tauran Empire accepted that Ahto was outside its domain and sovereign in its own right. The outbreak of the Second Unhuman War has caused many to call for a revocation of the Ahto Accords, but the Tauran Emperor has not acted on this yet. During this time of uncertainty, the Ahto Avariels was visited by Avariels from another world and the start of the Avariels unification began. The first was the construction of an orbiting base with its main purpose was the planets protection and at the same time to build a stronger trade network across Ahto and with the off the other Avariels off world.
