A distinctive spire
The flowering stalk rises above silver-green leaves with fine hairs. Its crimson blossoms give it a striking silhouette.
A wild habitat
It occurs in some rocky areas of Jenithyia. Its presence does not make it a plant found at every village doorstep.
A practical preparation
Alaric uses the blossoms mainly in salve for burns. The plant and the finished preparation have separate entries.
